Ojok Michael is a dedicated community leader and development practitioner with a solid foundation in communications, program development, and strategic partnerships. He is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Hashtag Gulu Initiative, where he has transformed the organisation into a fully registered nonprofit, leading a team of over 25 staff and volunteers. Ojok has successfully secured over $500,000 in funding, established partnerships with 15+ organisations, and developed programs that have positively impacted hundreds of beneficiaries. His expertise in financial oversight, sustainability initiatives, and team leadership has contributed to a 50% reduction in youth returning to the streets after reintegration. Additionally, he has coordinated impactful projects in prison rehabilitation, youth empowerment, and community-driven initiatives. With a degree in Mass Communication from Kampala University, Ojok is fluent in English and Acholi, and has held leadership roles within Rotary, Students Guild, the Northern Uganda Youth Parliament, and other youth-focused platforms.
